Clash of Titans
Coming Spring 2027
There is a moment every baseball life remembers — walking out of the concourse into open air, the green of the grass hitting you first, then the diamond: clean lines, still dirt, a field waiting. Something in you falls in love before you can name it.
Years later the dugout teaches the rest — lore handed down from a grandfather who trusted complete games and guts, a father who argued for the closer and the matchup, both of them right in their own seasons. How value hides in a role player. Why a rotation has a shape. What you spend on a bat when the arm market is cruel. That talk is dugout lore: not nostalgia for one club, the craft of building a winner from the whole of the game.
Clash of Titans is where that craft becomes the league.
You do not inherit a finished franchise. You draft the greatest individual seasons in baseball history — 1927 Ruth beside 1968 Gibson, a 1912 workhorse beside a modern ninth-inning knife — and you try to make them one club. Eras share a roster. Scarcity writes the rules. The best team is not always the most famous one.
The pool is history’s peak
Clash of Titans is built from elite player-seasons across every era — a closed, balanced talent pool deep enough for real choice and tight enough that construction still hurts. The same player may appear under different seasons; the same season may not. You are drafting moments that changed the sport, not career averages on a plaque.
Draft first. Then manage everything.
Standard leagues open with a snake draft. Premium leagues add a salary-cap snake draft, where every card carries a price tied to how much it helps you win — so the market punishes lazy stars and rewards the manager who builds the whole 26.
Your roster is 26 active and 7 reserve. You balance stars against depth, bats against arms, tonight’s lineup against next month’s fatigue.
There is no team era to hide behind. You set the lineup, rotation, bullpen, hooks, and baserunning. Optional era style presets can start you in a Dead Ball or Moneyball mind — then you override pitcher by pitcher. The manager who can seat Cy Young for a complete-game world and still trust a 2020 closer in the ninth should have the edge. That is the game.
Shape the season
When you create a league, you choose the weight of the year:
- League size — 10, 12, or 16 teams
- Standard Season — 66 games in about four weeks
- Full Season — 154 games across about nine weeks
- Premium Season — 154 games across about nine weeks, with deeper commissioner tools and limited keepers for leagues that want a longer memory
Clash of Titans is built for the longer forms — enough games for a draft to prove itself, and for management to matter after the board goes cold.
Games resolve on a schedule. You set the club, wait for the game, read the box and the wrap, then make the next call that costs something. Depth in the palm of your hand — with a higher ceiling.
The road to the Summer Cup
Every season points at one prize: the Summer Cup.
- Standard, Full & Premium — Top 4 enter the postseason; early rounds best-of-five, then the Summer Cup best-of-seven.
Elimination does not erase the rest of the league — records, milestones, and awards still give the eliminated something to chase. The Cup remains the only summit.
From the Apex to the Clash
Franchise Apex lets you fall in love with a franchise and a season. Clash of Titans asks whether you can build one — from every era at once — and manage it like the dugout talk said you would.
