About this park

Arlington Stadium was a Texas open-air bowl where heat and wind did as much talking as the fence marks. It hosted Rangers summers before the brick ballpark era — no retractable roof, no climate argument settled in advance. Extra-base hits had to earn the grass, and night games still felt like outdoor baseball in a big suburban yard.
