About this park

Memorial Stadium in Baltimore was a multipurpose bowl with football manners and baseball summers. It leaned pitcher for long stretches — spacious enough that cheap damage was hard to buy, loud enough on Orioles nights that the neighborhood felt the game. Before Camden Yards remade the template, this was Charm City's big-league home.
