About this park

Bennett Park was Detroit's early American League home before Navin Field / Tiger Stadium rose on the same ground. Wooden stands, a hitters' lean, and dead-ball-era baseball in a neighborhood that would become the Corner. The footprint later became legend under steel and concrete.
