About this park

Kauffman Stadium is a royal lawn — deep alleys for much of its life, fountains beyond the outfield, and a pitcher lean that made contact matter. Later fence moves tightened the gaps, but the park's soul stays spacious. Night games here still feel like Midwestern baseball with room to breathe.
