About this park

County Stadium was Milwaukee's fair Midwestern yard for Braves and Brewers summers — beer, brat smell in the memory, and dimensions that rarely handed out porch gifts. It played close to even. Managers who won here usually won with pitching and timely bats, not altitude tricks.
