About this park

Veterans Stadium was a concrete cookie-cutter on South Broad — Astroturf, artificial dirt cutouts, and a multipurpose bowl that hosted Phillies and Eagles. It played near neutral in the library's band. The 1993 and 2008 memories belong to the teams; the building was never romantic.
