About this park

Forbes Field was vast — a triples alley in the gaps, deep center that swallowed pride, and a pitcher-leaning cathedral in Oakland. Mazeroski's swing lives in October lore; the geometry underneath rewarded gap power over cheap porches. Walking onto that grass meant choosing patience.
