About this park

Three Rivers Stadium was Pittsburgh's multipurpose bowl at the confluence — turf, symmetry, and a near-neutral band. It replaced Forbes' cavern with cookie-cutter manners. Pirates clubs still authored nights worth remembering; the building itself stayed fair and impersonal.
